Terms of Service
The terms below govern your use of this website and every custom calibration service provided by TRW Calibrations. Last updated: October 6, 2026.
The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to TRW Calibrations. We operate this website, including all related information, content, features, and custom diesel calibration services (collectively, the "Services"). By visiting, interacting with, or using the Services — including submitting a tune request — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
You represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) and legally able to enter into contracts. By requesting a tune you confirm that: (a) you are the legal owner of the vehicle, or are authorized by the owner to modify it; (b) all vehicle information you provide (VIN, platform, device, modifications, fuel, hardware) is accurate, current, and complete; and (c) files built from inaccurate information you supplied are not refundable — see our Refund Policy.
Submitting the tune request form is an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including if your build is incompatible with the selected service, your VIN cannot be verified, or your vehicle/use case is outside our support scope. An order is accepted when we confirm by email and/or begin work. Prices are those in effect when the order is placed and are quoted per platform. We may change prices or discontinue services at any time; accepted orders are not affected.
Custom calibrations are delivered digitally by email, typically within 30 minutes to 1 hour of payment — however, all delivery estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed (complex builds, missing information, or high volume may extend timing). We may request additional information (VIN photos, data logs, hardware details) before delivering. Delays caused by missing information do not trigger refunds. You are responsible for backing up your stock file before flashing.
ECU/TCM calibration modifies your vehicle's engine and transmission control software. You acknowledge that: (a) tuning may void or affect your vehicle's manufacturer warranty; (b) you must disclose the modification to your insurer — failure to declare can void your policy; (c) performance depends on factors outside our control (mechanical condition, fuel quality, hardware health, installation); and (d) you flash at your own risk. We are calibrators, not a warranty provider, and we are not responsible for mechanical failures, property damage, or consequential losses arising from vehicle condition, hardware faults, improper flashing, or driver behavior.
Emissions-related laws (including the U.S. federal Clean Air Act) restrict modifying emission-control systems, and laws vary by state — some calibrations are legal only for off-road/competition/racing use on private property or closed courses, not on public roads. It is your sole responsibility to confirm that the calibration you order is legal for your vehicle and jurisdiction. We do not provide legal advice and accept no liability for fines, registration issues, failed inspections, or insurance consequences arising from your use of a calibration.
All content on this site — text, graphics, logos, the TRW Calibrations name, and the design — is owned by TRW Calibrations and protected by U.S. and foreign intellectual-property laws. Delivered calibrations are licensed to you for use on the single vehicle/ECU for which they were built; you may not resell, redistribute, publish, or share delivered files. Unauthorized redelivery is a breach of these Terms and may be pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not: transmit malicious code; scrape, spider, or harvest the site or its data; impersonate any person; upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content through our forms; or use the Services to violate any law or the rights of any third party. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate access at our sole discretion.
Occasionally information on the site (descriptions, pricing, availability) may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies. We reserve the right to correct errors and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information is inaccurate, at any time without prior notice.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS OFFERED THROUGH THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO PORTIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED BY LAW, IN NO CASE SHALL TRW CALIBRATIONS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, VEHICLE DAMAGE, REPLACEMENT COSTS) ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY DELIVERED CALIBRATION; OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TRW Calibrations and its owner/operators from any losses, damages, liabilities, or claims (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (c) your use or installation of any delivered calibration.
Before filing any dispute or chargeback, you agree to contact us first and make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue directly (see our Refund Policy). These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and TRW Calibrations consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona for any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services.
We may update, change, or replace these Terms at any time by posting to this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically.
